CANADIAN GENERAL INVESTMENTS, LIMITED DECLARES DIVIDENDS ON PREFERENCE SHARES

Canadian General Investments Ltd. has declared quarterly dividends on its preference shares.

A cash dividend of 24.375 cents per share is payable on Sept. 15, 2015, to shareholders of the company's 3.90-per-cent cumulative redeemable Class A preference shares, Series 3, of record at the close of business on Aug. 31, 2015.

A cash dividend of 23.438 cents per share is payable on Sept. 15, 2015, to shareholders of the company's 3.75-per-cent cumulative redeemable Class A preference shares, Series 4, of record at the close of business on Aug. 31, 2015.

These dividends are designated as eligible dividends for purposes of the Income Tax Act (Canada).
