S&P Dow Jones Canadian Index Services will make the following changes in the S&P/TSX Canadian indices.

The shareholders of Carfinco Financial Group Inc. have agreed to the terms of a plan of arrangement with Banco Santander S.A. Banco Santander will pay $11.25 cash for each share of Carfinco. Carfinco will be removed from the S&P/TSX SmallCap Index after the close of trading on Friday, March 6, 2015.
