AM GOLD RESPONDS TO FORCE MAJEURE ASSERTION

AM Gold Inc. has become aware of a news release issued by Rokmaster Resources Corp. on Sept. 22, 2014, announcing that Rokmaster has declared a force majeure under the Pinaya option and joint venture agreement dated effective July 16, 2012, as amended effective Sept. 11, 2013, among the company, the company's wholly owned Peruvian subsidiary and Rokmaster. Rokmaster has also delivered a notice of force majeure to AM Gold.

AM Gold is reviewing the factual basis of the force majeure assertion along with all rights and remedies the company has available to it in this regard. The company will issue a further news release when updates on this matter are available.
