The TSX Venture Exchange gained 7.93 points to 812.05 Wednesday. Connor Cruise's halted capital pool shell, Brassneck Capital Corp. (BC), plans to acquire National Access Cannabis Corp. (NAC) for the shell's qualifying transaction. Brassneck will split its shares 1.205 for 1, leaving it with 8,361,495 postsplit shares issued, then issue 82,147,568 postsplit shares to NAC's shareholders and warrantholders.

NAC is based in Ottawa. It operates 10 marijuana consultation clinics from Halifax to Victoria. It plans to start selling marijuana products at its clinics as soon as the law allows storefront sales. In the meantime, it sells vaporizers, grinders and other marijuana accessories through its website. It also offers products by Mettrum Health Corp., which last month was acquired by Canopy Growth Corp. (WEED: $10.76). The available Mettrum products are a brownie mix, a cookie mix, a lip balm and a moisturizing cream.
