The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Wednesday was a rousing 79-46-141. The TSX Venture Exchange gained nine points to 730 while polished diamond prices rose 0.1 per cent. Dominion Diamond Corp. (DDC), reclaimed 41 cents to $11.43 on 910,000 shares, despite whispers about the profitability of its Jay project and a three-month delay in diamond production at Ekati, thanks to a recent fire.
