DIRECTOR APPOINTMENT AND GRANT OF STOCK OPTIONS

Wellstar Energy Corp. has appointed Christopher P. Cherry to the company's board of directors. Mr. Cherry replaces Minaz Dhanani, who resigned on Feb. 19, 2015.

The company also announces that it has granted stock options to certain directors, senior officers, consultants and employees of the company to purchase up to 117,068 common shares of the company at 10 cents per share, exercisable in whole or in part for a term of 36 months from the date of grant.
