TARANIS RESOURCES INC. ANNOUNCES RESIGNATION OF GEORGE KENT AND APPOINTMENT OF NEW CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER

George R. Kent of Toronto, Ont., one of the founders of Taranis Resources Inc., has tendered his resignation as a director, the chief financial officer and a vice-president. The company sincerely appreciates all of the services Mr. Kent has performed for the company since its incorporation in 2001. Mr. Kent continues to be the company's largest shareholder, holding approximately 18 per cent of its current issued share capital.

The company also announces the appointment of Gary R. McDonald, chartered accountant, of New Westminster, B.C., as its new chief financial officer. Mr. McDonald is also a director of the company, having served in that capacity since 2002.
