INVESTOR ACQUIRES SHARES OF SERENGETI RESOURCES INC.

Richard C. Atkinson has filed an early warning report that advises that he has obtained ownership or control of 2,551,000 common shares and 300,000 warrants of Serengeti Resources Inc. A total of 1,951,000 shares was purchased on the open market, and 600,000 shares and 300,000 warrants were obtained through a private placement. Les Entreprises de Richard Atkinson purchased all the shares reported in this early warning report. Mr. Atkinson now owns or controls 7,900,550 common shares, which represents 11.33 per cent of Serengeti's issued and outstanding common shares as at Aug. 5, 2016. The shares were acquired for investment purposes only. This investment may be increased or decreased as circumstances warrant.
