RIZAL ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DIRECTOR

Rizal Resources Corp. has appointed Neil Grimes to the board of directors.

Mr. Grimes is an experienced commercial and business development manager in the mineral resources industry. With more than 25 years of experience in the mining industry around the globe he has a wealth of experience, including at WMC Resources, Oxiana Ltd., OZ Minerals, MMG Ltd. and three years with Indophil Resources in the Philippines as executive general manager. He is currently managing director of Mannerim Capital, an Australia-based management consultancy firm which he established almost two years ago. He is also vice-president of the Australia-Philippines Business Council and heads its mining committee. Whilst at Indophil, his role included all business and technical aspects of the Tampakan copper/gold project in joint venture with Xstrata (later Glencore), which will add the extra experience and strength to the board of Rizal as it moves forward with its Philippine projects.

Peter Main, chief executive officer and president, noted: "We are pleased to have Neil join our team. His experience specializing in consulting with minerals development companies and his proven track record including the Philippines with Indophil Resources will be a great asset to Rizal."
