WILAN SUBSIDIARY ENTERS INTO LICENSE AGREEMENT WITH BROTHER

Wi-LAN Inc., a Quarterhill Inc. company, has a subsidiary, Commercial Copy Innovations Inc., which has granted a licence for certain patents owned by CCI to Brother International Corp. and Brother Industries (USA) Inc. The licensed patents relate to various printer technologies.

The licence resolves continuing litigation between CCI and Brother.

The consideration paid to Wi-LAN and all other terms of the licence agreement are confidential.
