ORVANA ANNOUNCES RESULTS OF ANNUAL AND SPECIAL SHAREHOLDERS' MEETING

At Orvana Minerals Corp.'s annual and special shareholder meeting held on Feb. 14, 2018, the individuals noted herein were elected as directors of the company. The report on proxies provided by the company's transfer agent indicated the following.

George Darling received 72,937,116 votes (representing 97.47 per cent of votes cast); Alan Edwards received 72,761,516 votes (representing 97.23 per cent of votes cast); Alfredo Garcia Gonzalez received 72,801,116 votes (representing 97.29 per cent of votes cast); Ed Guimaraes received 72,791,116 votes (representing 97.27 per cent of votes cast); Sara Magner received 72,790,116 votes (representing 97.27 per cent of votes cast); and Gordon Pridham received 72,933,116 votes (representing 97.46 per cent of votes cast).

Mr. Pridham was reappointed as chairman of the board of directors immediately after the meeting.

The company received 72,646,799 votes (representing 97.08 per cent of votes cast) to approve its 2018 stock option plan. The company also reports the reappointment of PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP as the company's independent auditor.
