Brien Lundin, in the November, 2016, edition of the Gold Newsletter, says hold Gold Standard Ventures Corp., recently $3.29. Mr. Lundin said buy seven times from December, 2010, to November, 2015, at prices ranging from 55 cents to $1.64. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the seven buys, the $7,000 position is now worth $30,060. Mr. Lundin continues to be impressed with the drill results from Gold Standard's Railroad-Pinion property in Nevada. One recent hole, targeting the North Dark Star deposit on the property, turned up 97.3 metres of 3.16 grams per tonne gold, including 10.1 metres of 4.02 g/t gold and 49.1 metres of 4.62 g/t gold. Gold Standard says the geological characteristics of the North Dark Star mineralization have been found in other areas of the Dark Star corridor that have yet to be tested. This raises the possibility of "even more discovery excitement," cheers Mr. Lundin. He would not be surprised to see Gold Standard eventually taken over by a major. The stock is a hold at current levels and a potential buy on any significant weakness.
