GOLD STANDARD ANNOUNCES GRANT OF OPTIONS

Gold Standard Ventures Corp., pursuant to its stock option incentive plan, today granted certain employees, directors and consultants incentive stock options to purchase 3.65 million common shares of the company at 73 cents for a period of five years.

The stock options are subject to the terms of the company's stock option plan and regulatory approval.
