GOLD STANDARD ANNOUNCES GRANT OF OPTIONS

Pursuant to the stock option incentive plan, Gold Standard Ventures Corp. has granted certain employees, directors and consultants incentive stock options to purchase 1.08 million common shares of the company at 77 cents for a period of five years.

The stock options are subject to the terms of the company's stock option plan and regulatory approval.
