EMPOWER ANNOUNCES BRIDGE LOAN

Empower Clinics Inc. has agreed to obtain a bridge loan in the principal amount of $205,000 from Ty and Sons Investments Inc., an arm's-length party to the company, to be evidenced by the issuance of a promissory note by the company to the lender. The loan will bear interest at the rate of 6 per cent per annum and will mature on Jan. 31, 2020. The company expects to use the proceeds of the loan for internal restructuring purposes, and for other general and administrative purposes.
