The Toronto Stock Exchange reports that Enbridge Inc.'s cumulative redeemable minimum rate reset preferred shares, Series 19, will be listed at 5:01 p.m. on Dec. 8, 2017, for trading at the open on Dec. 11, 2017. As stated in its Dec. 5, 2017, prospectus supplement, the company will issue 20 million Series 19 preferred shares at $25 per share in a public offering. It expects to close the offering before the open on Dec. 11, 2017.

According to the TSX, Enbridge expects to pay quarterly distributions on the Series 19 preferred shares on the first business day of March, June, September and December in each year, at an annual rate of $1.225 per share. The initial dividend of 26.85 cents per share will be paid on March 1, 2018.

The TSX reports that the Series 19 preferred shares will be redeemable on March 1, 2023, and on March 1 every five years thereafter at $25 per share. The holders of the shares may also convert the Series 19 shares into Series 20 shares of the company on March 1, 2023, and on March 1 every five years thereafter.
