CHERAZZ BELGIAN STYLE FRUIT BEER: IT'S BACK

Big Rock Brewery Inc. has released its third Alchemist Edition of 2014, Cherazz Belgian-style fruit beer.

The first golden sip of cold beer on a hot sultry day is one of the purest moments of summer. To craft that moment into the most refreshing, perfect punch, brewmaster Paul Gautreau set his sights on Belgium's centuries-old tradition of fine fruit beers. Starting with imported Belgian yeast and at carefully timed points throughout the fermentation process, Mr. Gautreau blended dark sweet cherries, lively tart cherries and succulent raspberries, creating a superb brew with a delicate mouth feel and medium carbonation.

Only 3,000 bottles are being produced, making this brew one of Big Rock's most limited releases. Available in a 650-millilitre bomber bottle, Cherazz makes its appearance July 11, 2014, in Alberta and British Columbia.
