Further to the bulletin dated July 15, 2008, the TSX Venture Exchange has accepted for filing amendments to the $10-million convertible debenture that was issued pursuant to the agreement dated March 18, 2008, between Aurcana Corp. and Silver Standard Resources Ltd. The conversion price remains unchanged at $1.515 per common share. The amendments are as follows:

A one-year extension to the term of the debenture from July 15, 2011, to July 15, 2012;

To allow the company to repay a total of $7,000 of the principal owing on July 15, 2011;

To provide the balance of $3-million to be repaid in equal quarterly instalments;

To increase the rate of interest to 9 per cent per year;

To provide that the debenture may be prepaid at any time prior to the maturity date.
