ARCO RESOURCES ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT TO BOARD OF DIRECTORS

Arco Resources Corp. has appointed Brian Gusko to the board of directors. Mr. Gusko brings significant international business experience to the company, along with over 20 years of financing public and private small-cap companies. Early in his career, he worked internationally as a research associate with the U.S. Department of Commerce at an embassy posting, followed by a corporate planning position with a Mitsubishi Group company in Tokyo, and he worked in product management at a Vodafone spinoff in the Netherlands. He also has extensive experience with Canadian public companies, both in senior management and at the board level. He is currently a member of the board of directors of Lomiko Metals Inc., the chief financial officer of Vodis Innovative Pharmaceuticals Inc. and a partner in the capital markets advisory firm Howe & Bay Financial Corp.

Mr. Gusko replaces Jeff Sheremeta on the company's board of directors. Mr. Sheremeta has resigned to pursue other ventures. The company wishes to thank Mr. Sheremeta for his service to the company over the past several years.
