APIVIO ANNOUNCES ITS MONET SERIES UT880S ANDROID DESKTOP PHONE HAS COMPLETED INTEROPERABILITY TESTING WITH BROADSOFT

Apivio Systems Inc.'s Monet Series UT880s Android desktop phone has successfully completed interoperability testing with the BroadSoft Business BroadWorks call control platform. Apivio can now market and sell its best-in-class Android desktop phone to BroadSoft telecom service provider customers, resellers and integrators, opening up a large new sales channel for Apivio's products and services.

BroadSoft is the leading provider of cloud-based unified communications (UC) telephony solutions. BroadSoft has deployed more than 15 million hosted UC lines with more than 600 service provider customers (including 25 of the top 30 by revenue) across 80 countries. With a market-leading 41-per-cent market share in the cloud-based private branch exchange/unified communications (PBX/UC) sector, BroadSoft opens up a large new channel for Apivio to market its products, with the company now approaching telecom operators and other channel partners that either sell or deploy BroadSoft Business-compliant equipment.

In addition to achieving validation with BroadSoft Business BroadWorks session initiation protocol (SIP) call control platform, Apivio will be exhibiting at the annual BroadSoft Connections conference in San Antonio, Tex., from Nov. 13 to Nov. 15, 2016, to introduce the BroadSoft Business-compatible UT880s desktop phone. Hundreds of BroadSoft service provider customers, as well as industry leaders and market influencers, will be in attendance at the BroadSoft Connections conference.
