ALIX ANNOUNCES CLOSING OF FIRST TRANCHE OF PRIVATE PLACEMENT OFFERING

Alix Resources Corp., further to its news releases dated April 16, 2015, April 28, 2015, and May 26, 2015, has completed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement of 15 million units at a price of five cents per unit for gross proceeds of $750,000. Each unit consists of one common share and one share purchase warrant of the company. Each warrant will entitle the holder to acquire one share of the company at a price of six cents per share for the 60 months from the date of issuance.

Gross proceeds of the first tranche were $523,000.

The company paid a cash commission to the finders totalling $25,900 and issued 518,000 finders' warrants exercisable for 12 months at five cents.

The shares and warrants issued pursuant to the private placement, and any shares issued on exercise of the warrants, are subject to four-month resale restriction that expires on Oct. 30, 2015.

The TSX Venture Exchange has conditionally accepted the private placement and has granted an extension from the original announced closing date of June 29, 2015, to July 15, 2015.

The proceeds raised will be used for general working capital.
