ACT AURORA CONTROL TECHNOLOGIES ANNOUNCES NAME CHANGE TO AURORA SOLAR TECHNOLOGIES; AURORA'S COMPANY NAME BETTER ALIGNED TO ITS FOCUS ON THE PHOTOVOLTAIC SOLAR INDUSTRY

ACT Aurora Control Technologies Corp. has changed its company name to Aurora Solar Technologies Inc. to better align with its focus on measurement and yield optimization solutions for the solar industry. The name change is effective May 28, 2015, and there is no change to the trading symbol on the TSX Venture Exchange.

"This name change clearly conveys our commitment to solar cell manufacturers to improve the quality and yield from their production lines," said Michael Heaven, chairman and chief executive officer. He went on to say, "Aurora's revolutionary Veritas measurement and control solutions are proving mission critical to reducing cell variability, increasing the power output per cell and therefore maximizing the selling price per watt."
