The TSX Venture Exchange gained 6.83 points to close at 576.68 Tuesday. Saman (Sam) Eskandari has filed a preliminary prospectus to list his
first capital pool shell, Shepard Ventures Inc. It plans to sell a
$200,000 initial public offering at 10 cents through Haywood Securities Inc.
Mr. Eskandari, 37, is a marketing man in Vancouver. From 2006 to 2015, he worked at Future Shop, in positions including sales manager and general manager at several branches in the Vancouver area. Afterward, he co-founded an on-line marketing agency, HOVR Marketing Inc., where he was the manager from August, 2016, to February, 2019.
In the last few years, Mr. Eskandari has also been the investor relations man for a few public companies, namely a pharmaceutical marijuana promotion called Veritas Pharma Inc. (VRT: $0.40), an investment issuer called Planet Ventures Inc. (PXI: $0.055) and a now-defunct mining junior called Southern
Lithium Corp. In March, 2019, Mr. Eskandari joined the board of Stamper Oil & Gas Corp. (STMP: $0.015).
