The TSX Venture Exchange closed up 2.66 points to 705.69 Friday, but it ended the week down 3.46 points. Ravinder Mlait has filed a final prospectus to list his first capital pool shell, Brockton Ventures Inc. Three things have changed since Mr. Mlait filed the preliminary prospectus in April. First, Brockton has increased the size of its initial public offering to $245,000 from $200,000. The IPO price is still 10 cents, and the IPO agent is still Leede Jones Gable Inc.
Second, Brockton sold 100,000 escrow shares at five cents in July, adding to the two million escrow shares that it sold at five cents in February. Third, the shell added a fourth director, Rob Chang, to whom all the new escrow shares went. Mr. Chang, 40, was the head of metals and mining research at Cantor Fitzgerald Canada Corp. from January, 2011, to January, 2018. He has since joined the boards of Fission Uranium Corp. (FCU: $0.73) and Ur-Energy Inc. (URE: $1.00).
