The TSX Venture Exchange had its sixth consecutive up-day, climbing 18.9 points to 889.94 Wednesday. Alan Friedman's Tova Ventures II Inc. (TOVA) has arranged to acquire Enthusiast Gaming Inc. as its qualifying transaction. Enthusiast says it runs an on-line gaming community that reaches over 50 million gamers a month. It also hosts an annual live-gaming event in Toronto called the Enthusiast Gaming Live Expo. The expo apparently attracted 12,000 attendees in 2017. This year's event is set for March 9-11, 2018. A weekend pass costs $40.
Tova's Mr. Friedman is also a director of Enthusiast, so he says he recused himself from deliberations. Tova has yet to announce a financing or any proposed directors. It plans to provide more information shortly. The company listed in October, 2017, selling a $350,000 initial public offering at 10 cents. Enthusiast says it has raised $1.45-million in three rounds of seed financing between 2015 and 2016.
