The TSX Venture Exchange slipped 2.82 points to 791.44 Friday, but ended the week up 29.07 points. Hari Varshney's halted NEX shell, Open Gold Corp. (OPG), has submitted a filing statement for its acquisition of Skillsdox Inc., an Ottawa company that sells on-line academic and job training courses to employees and businesses in India. The shell will roll back 1 for 9.5, leaving it with 3,092,158 postconsolidated shares issued, then issue 36,831,266 postconsolidated shares to its target's shareholders.

Skillsdox is a sales agent that has a website called betterU (previously School of Skill), where it sells other companies' on-line courses delivered in English. It does not create or host course contents itself; modules come from other on-line education and job training providers. Among the courses listed on betterU is a cloud computing certificate program that costs 17,999 rupees ($349) and is offered by AcadGild, a technology education start-up in India. Another is a leadership course that costs 3,000 rupees ($58) and is offered by Vubiz, an e-learning company in California. Once a user pays for a course on the betterU website, he will receive an access code, then he will be directed to the course provider's e-learning website. The access code will serve as proof to the course provider that a user has paid the tuition fee.
