New York spot gold slipped $15.00 to $1,322.80 on Thursday. The TSX Venture Exchange fell 0.72 point to 621.61 while the TSX Gold Index dipped 1.34 points to 197.25. Osisko Gold Royalties Ltd. (OR) bucked the trend. It gained 87 cents to $14.70 on 2.43 million shares on one of its busiest days in the past year.
Alar Soever and Marz Kord's Wallbridge Mining Company Ltd. (WM), up 1.5 cents to 28.5 cents on 7.19 million shares, has received assays of up to 12.7 grams of gold per tonne over 2.71 metres at its Fenelon gold project in northwestern Quebec. That hit occurred within a broader 9.96-metre zone that returned 3.93 grams of gold per tonne. Several other holes produced noteworthy hits. The same hole also averaged 1.02 gram per tonne over 24.59 metres in a slightly shallower intersection, helped by a 0.54-metre interval that averaged 9.9 grams per tonne. A second hole produced 19.18 grams per tonne over 0.58 metre.
