(SGI), up eight cents to $1.01 on 1.33 million shares, has received assays of up to 64 grams of gold over 2.2 metres in the Baltic zone at its Plutonic mine in Western Australia. The assays are from 281 holes spanning a total of 21,000 metres, most of which were drilled as resource definition and grade control tests. The drilling in the Baltic zone tested a gap between that zone and the Caribbean zone and results were sufficiently encouraging to plan two more holes. The drilling tested several other zones at Plutonic and all of them yielded significant intersections of gold.
