The diamond and specialty minerals stocks box score for Monday was a ho-hum 74-77-127. The TSX Venture Exchange gained four points to 719 while polished diamond prices fell 0.15 per cent. Johnathan More's Power Metals Corp. (PWM) traded actively, gaining 1.5 cents to 25 cents on 2.84 million shares. The company has been busy drilling and sampling at its lithium projects, led by Case Lake, east of Cochrane in Northern Ontario.
Leni Keough's Olivut Resources Ltd. (OLV), unchanged at nine cents on 9,000 shares, says that it may have to delay meaningful work, if more geophysics can be considered meaningful, until next year on the Seahorse project, north of Great Bear Lane in the Northwest Territories. Olivut acquired an option to earn a 50-per-cent interest in the project in July from Dr. Ray Davies's Talmora Diamond Corp. (TAI: $0.02), in exchange for $200,000 in cash and $1.2-million in exploration over two years.
