WRANGLER WEST ANNOUNCES GRANT OF STOCK OPTIONS

Wrangler West Energy Corp. has granted options to acquire a total of 365,000 common shares at an exercise price of $2.05 per share. The options were granted in accordance with the company's stock option plan, which was amended and approved by the shareholders on May 26, 2010. The options vest in one-third increments, beginning on the date of grant and on the following first and second anniversaries. Subject to vesting, the options expire five years from the date of grant. Of the options issued, 130,000 were granted to directors, 170,000 were granted to officers and 65,000 were granted to employees of Wrangler West.
