WIND RIVER ENERGY COMPLETES WELL SITE PREPARATION IN PHATCITY PROJECT, MONTANA
Wind River Energy Corp. has completed the construction of the well pad for the Nelson 9-14 well in the PhatCity project in Montana. Access permits and agreements for water supply and storage for the drilling operations are complete. The pad is ready and waiting for the arrival of CapStar rig No. 314, with the exact timing of the arrival of the rig dependent on the completion of operations at the rig's current location. It is anticipated that the drilling program will last approximately 15 days, with completion operations to follow immediately thereafter.
"Wind River is investing in this drilling program because of the promising geological information and seismic data that we have on this project. This drilling program is an important step for the development of what we believe to be a very promising oil field," said Alan O'Hare, chief executive officer, Wind River Energy.
