TORO LICENSES WILAN PATENT PORTFOLIO

The Toro Company has entered into a patent licence agreement with Wi-LAN Inc.'s wholly owned subsidiary, Smart Irrigation Solutions Inc., related to irrigation control system technologies.

The agreement resolves litigation that was pending in the United States District Court for the Central District of California. The consideration to be paid to Wi-LAN and all other terms of the licence agreement are confidential.
