WEST AFRICAN TO REVISE MANKARGA TECHNICAL REPORT

West African Resources Ltd. has advised investors that the recently announced prefeasibility study on the Mankarga 5 gold project, Burkina Faso, is being revised. The PFS is not supported by a compliant independent technical report completed in accordance with the requirements of Canadian National Instrument 43-101 (disclosure standards for mineral projects). The supporting technical report currently filed at SEDAR should not be relied on until it has been superseded by an independently authored and 43-101-compliant technical report, which the company is currently having prepared and which it expects to file in the very near future.
