PRETIUM RESOURCES INC.: US$540 MILLION CONSTRUCTION FINANCING CLOSES

Pretium Resources Inc. has closed its previously announced $540-million (U.S.) construction financing package with the Orion Mine Finance Group and Blackstone Tactical Opportunities. The financing comprises a credit facility for $350-million (U.S.), a $150-million (U.S.) prepayment under a callable gold and silver stream agreement, and a private placement of Pretium common shares for $40-million (U.S.). At closing $340-million (U.S.) was advanced to Pretium.
