PETAQUILLA SCHEDULES SHAREHOLDER WEBCAST

Petaquilla Minerals Ltd. will host a shareholder webcast to discuss its preliminary fiscal 2012 fourth quarter and annual results, to provide guidance for fiscal 2013, and to provide a business update.

The webcast will take place at 10 a.m. (Pacific Time)/1 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Wednesday, June 27, 2012, and is expected to last approximately 30 minutes. The call will include a presentation by Richard Fifer, the company's executive chairman, and shareholder questions will be addressed. To ensure that shareholder questions may be fully answered, please submit all questions by 9 a.m. (Pacific Time)/12 p.m. (Eastern Time) on Tuesday, June 26, 2012, so they may be grouped into general categories and addressed as time permits.
