James Kwantes, in the Sept. 22, 2015, edition of Resource Opportunities, comments on Kaminak Gold Corp., recently 83 cents. A previous editor of the newsletter, Lawrence Roulston, said buy Kaminak 10 times from March 15, 2007, to June 24, 2014, at prices ranging from 7.5 cents to $3.86. Assuming a $1,000 investment for each of the 10 buys, the $10,000 position is now worth $21,229. Mr. Kwantes calls Kaminak's Coffee project "something of a Yukon darling." It is apparently enticing enough that Kaminak has attracted support from two well-known mining financiers, Lukas Lundin and Ross Beaty, both of whom acquired nearly 10 per cent of the company's shares in a financing that raised $13.5-million last July (Mr. Lundin made his purchase through his Zebra Holdings). Kaminak's plan for Coffee is to build an open-pit heap-leach mine that will operate for 11 years, producing an average of 167,000 ounces of gold a year at all-in sustaining costs at $687 (U.S.) an ounce. The backing of Mr. Lundin and Mr. Beaty indicates to Mr. Kwantes that money will not be a problem.
