JNR ANNOUNCES APPOINTMENT OF DAVE BILLARD, P.GEO. AS CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER

JNR Resources Inc. has appointed Dave Billard as chief operating officer (COO).

Mr. Billard is a professional geologist with more than 30 years experience in the mining and exploration industry. He has been involved with JNR since 1999, and has served in turn as consultant to the company, exploration manager, and, since 2007, vice-president of exploration and director. He was directly involved in the discovery of the Maverick zone on the company's Moore Lake uranium joint venture and also participated in the discovery of several significant gold deposits earlier in his career. Prior to his association with JNR, Mr. Billard was employed by Cameco Corp. for over 12 years, exploring for uranium, gold, base metals and diamonds in Western Canada and the Western United States. Mr. Billard will continue in the role of vice-president of exploration in addition to his duties as COO.
