Invictus's ex-subsidiary Stockgroup sued by Euronext

Invictus Financial Inc.'s former operating subsidiary, Stockgroup Media Inc., is facing a collection lawsuit in the Supreme Court of British Columbia from Euronext N.V. of Amsterdam. The suit claims that Euronext provided market data to Stockgroup under a March 14, 2008, agreement, but has not received complete payment. The suit seeks the Canadian equivalent of 141,539 euros, which is $201,099.
Euronext filed a very brief notice of civil claim against Stockgroup Media on Oct. 19, 2010, at the Vancouver courthouse. According to the claim, Euronext agreed to provide market data to Stockgroup and to bill it on a regular basis. Euronext does not say exactly when Stockgroup stopped paying, but does state that there is more than one unpaid invoice. According to the claim, Stockgroup has acknowledged the debt in writing.

A mere bagatelle. If Stockhouse charged each chimper only a buck for each spamming post made (TURN $2000 INTO 1 MILLION in LESS THAN A WEEK...STOCKS that WILL DOUBLE or TRIPLE SOON), that 201 large would be wiped out in way under a week.

Marcus never had a clue as to what he was doing, always trying so hard to be a big shot. Stockhouse servers should be powered down, they're just running as spam bots now.

Nice enough guy, big time "know it all" though....very hard to work with, lots of poeple dont like him....this one was a true disaster. Well atleast he has Calandra to make him some money again.

is this really news?...stockwatch must have a real hard on for stockgroup... stockgroup must have hurt their business badly with their real time quote product. SW just try updating the system which has been the same for 15 years and the blackberry app sucks..spend some time on improving the product instead of trying to just beat down your competitors

Halcrow, personally I wouldn't pay a buck a year decade to post at SH. (I suspect SH will not remain for that period). But, then again, I suppose that was the purpose for your suggestion. I guess neither would the semi-pro / pro pumper crowd, as it would negatively impact the bottom line. (lol) I haven't visited the site more than twice in the last two years, for eg.
