Mr. Charles Larsen reports
GLOBAL HEMP GROUP SELLS INITIAL HEMP SEED ORDER
TO COLORADO HEMP WORKS
Global Hemp Group Inc. has completed an initial sale of whole raw hemp seed to Colorado Hemp Works LLC
(CHWS) for use in an oil-pressing processing test. Upon successful test, GHG and CHWS will
enter into a longer term supply contract to supply CHWS from Canada until commercial
quantities of seed are available in Colorado. This order is in the process of being shipped to
CHWS.
"Colorado Hemp Works is the first, and only U.S.-based commercial hemp seed processor," stated
Matt Birkholz, president of CHWS. "We wholesale a wide range of food-grade products all
derived from this one versatile seed. Unlike our international counterparts, Colorado Hemp
Works is able to offer natural food companies local and on-demand processing. Instead of
products sitting in large warehouses for months before being shipped to customers, we offer the
freshest products available through processing seed just days before our customers are ready to
use these ingredients in their own products."
"We are excited to establish this relationship with Colorado Hemp Works and be a part of their
testing program," stated Charlie Larsen, president of Global Hemp. "With the ongoing changes
to legislation in the United States, commercialization of hemp production and processing will
continue to open up new markets for hemp, and food processing will emerge as a significant
segment of that market, just as in Canada."
In addition, two of the parties that purchased the company's 15-per-cent convertible debenture (as
announced on June 12, 2015) have elected to convert their debenture to shares. As per the terms
of the debenture, principal and accrued interest in the amount of $97,397.26 has been converted
into 2,782,779 common shares of the company.
