Fundamental Applications Corp. has appointed Alex Helmel to the board of directors.

Mr. Helmel is an independent management consultant for early-stage venture companies within the Canadian capital markets. His specific expertise is helping private-to-public market transitions, the development of senior management teams, corporate governance and strategic growth strategies. Mr. Helmel has served as a director or officer for numerous private, Canadian Securities Exchange-listed and TSX Venture Exchange-listed companies.

The company also reports that Nicholas Miller has resigned as a director of the company, but will remain active in an advisory capacity.
