EMERALD HEALTH THERAPEUTICS ANNOUNCES STOCK OPTION GRANT

Emerald Health Therapeutics Inc. has issued an aggregate of 1.95 million incentive stock options to various directors, officers and employees of the company at an exercise price of 72 cents per common share for a period of five years. The options granted to the directors will vest immediately. The options granted to the officers and the employees will vest over 36 months.

The above-mentioned options have been granted pursuant to the company's stock option plan, which has been previously approved by the company's shareholders and the TSX Venture Exchange.
