EUROPEAN GOLDFIELDS -- DIRECTORS DEALINGS

Martyn Konig, executive chairman and president of European Goldfields Ltd., has purchased an additional 25,000 shares in European Goldfields on Sept. 5, 2010, at an average price of $9.97807.

Following the purchase, Mr. Konig's holding in the company is 434,457 ordinary shares, or 0.24 per cent of the company's current issued share capital.

The company was notified of the share purchase on Sept. 6, 2010.
