PIERRE LASSONDE OWNERSHIP IN CALIBRE MINING CORP.

As a result of a private placement, Pierre Lassonde now holds 25 million units of Calibre Mining Corp., each unit consisting one common share and one-half common share purchase warrant.

Mr. Lassonde's current holdings represent approximately 11.83 per cent of the current issued and outstanding common shares of the company. Mr. Lassonde has further advised the company that this acquisition is for investment purposes. He has indicated that he will review his holdings from time to time, and that he may increase or decrease his position as future circumstances may dictate.
