APPOINTMENT OF JONATHAN AWDE TO BOARD

Consolidated Westview Resource Corp. has appointed Jonathan Awde as a director, president, chief executive officer and the new chairman of the board.

Mr. Awde is a private businessman, as well as a director and president of Gold Standard Ventures Corp., a junior advanced gold exploration company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange and NYSE MKT.

Richard Silas will be stepping down as president, but will remain as a director and corporate secretary.
