BLACKICE ENTERS PARTNERSHIP WITH EY VIETNAM

Blackice Enterprise Risk Management Inc. has entered into a joint agreement with EY Vietnam (Ernst & Young Vietnam Ltd.), an affiliate of EY, a worldwide auditing and consulting company.

The two companies will jointly market Basel consulting services alongside the Blackice Governance and Compliance Database (GCD). The agreement will provide Blackice with access to Vietnam's leading financial institutions so they can fully leverage the GCD, and maintain compliance with the Basel Accord regulations.

Mac Kalyan, chairman and chief executive officer of Blackice, stated: "We are very fortunate to have EY as a partner in Vietnam. Their international reputation means our products receive instant credibility, and removes any initial reluctance by our potential clients on reviewing and potentially purchasing our software. This makes it easier for us to get in the door, after which the product demonstration sells itself. We hope to leverage our relationship with EY Vietnam to EY entities in other jurisdictions."
