ALACER'S COPLER GOLD MINE ACHIEVES 100,000 OUNCES PRODUCTION MILESTONE
Alacer Gold Corp.'s Copler gold
mine poured its 100,000th ounce of gold on Aug. 24, 2011.
Edward Dowling, president and chief executive officer of Alacer, stated: "We are very pleased
with the progress at Copler and the value this milestone reflects.
Producing 100,000 ounces of gold in only 35 weeks since our first pour
on Dec. 22, 2010, reflects a production ramp-up that is proceeding
well ahead of plan. The dedication of the Copler team and support of
our many stakeholders are responsible for this accomplishment and is
deeply appreciated."
