DOVER, Del., Aug. 3, 2011 /PRNewswire/ -- At their meeting held on August 3, 2011, the Board of Directors of Chesapeake Utilities Corporation (NYSE: CPK) declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.345 per share on the Company's common stock, representing $1.38 per share on an annualized basis.  The $0.345 per share dividend will be paid on October 5, 2011 to all shareholders of record at the close of business on September 15, 2011.

2011 represents the 50th consecutive year that Chesapeake has paid a dividend to its shareholders.
