BULLOCK, N.C., July 25, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- Williamson's Country Store is expanding its business by offering U-Haul rental equipment and services to the residents of Bullock and its surrounding areas. Tammy Williamson, owner of Williamson's Country Store, never expected to become a U-Haul dealer.  

"It was an accident," Williamson said "One night, somebody left a U-Haul truck on our property. We thought someone might steal it, so we called U-Haul and they came to pick it up. They asked us about becoming a dealer and the rest is history."

It might have been an accident that Williamson's Country Store is now a U-Haul dealership, but it's no accident that Bullock residents now benefit from this partnership.

For starters, Williamson's is the only U-Haul dealership in Bullock. The next closest dealer is across the state line, in Clarksville, Va.

Next, Williamson's is open from 5 a.m. – 8 p.m., seven days a week. Many of Williamson's competitors have short business hours and are closed on Sunday.  

Finally, customers who regularly shop at Williamson's Country Store now know where they can rent moving equipment.

The mutually beneficial addition of U-Haul has already generated a boost in business, showing new residents where they can purchase general goods and also rent equipment to serve their self-moving needs.
