HOUSTON, Oct. 22, 2014 /PRNewswire/ -- BBVA Compass has added three members to its Phoenix advisory board to support its business development efforts in Arizona.

New advisory board members:

• Robert Hockensmith Jr., owner of Robert F. Hockensmith, CPA, PC, an accounting and consulting firm. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Keller Graduate School of Management and a Master of Science in international studies from the U.S. Army Command & General Staff College.  
• Denise D. Resnik, founder and president of marketing and communications firm DRA Strategic Communications. Resnik is also the founder of First Place, a mixed-use residential development designed for individuals with autism and related disorders, and co-founder of Southwest Autism Research and Resource Center. She has a bachelor's degree in business from Arizona State University.
• Mark Schnepf, owner of farm and entertainment venue Schnepf Farms, which has been in his family for three generations. The nearly 300-acre farm is the largest peach farm in Arizona and was designated "An Arizona Treasure" by Governor Janet Napolitano in 2006. He has a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Arizona State University.

The three new board members join Greg Hall, DLA Piper partner; James D. Howard Jr., Dudley Ventures principal; Don Keuth, Phoenix Community Alliance president; Sara Dial, Sara Dial & Associates CEO; and William "Wick" Pilcher, CEO of Wick Pilcher Insurance, a division of USI.
