Transact Energy Engages Reactor Suppliers for Puebla

2014-10-09 09:02 ET - News Release

SAN ANTONIO, TX(Eteligis Inc.)

SAN ANTONIO, TX, United States, via ETELIGIS INC., 10/09/2014 - - Transact Energy Corp. (OTCQB:TEGY) has signed an Engineering Services Contract with an Australian Electrical Engineering firm to design/build the main reactors for the first Puebla, Mexico, zero emissions waste optimization plant (Z.E.W.O.P. TM). This agreement is ahead of the release of the Fichtner Consulting Engineers F.E.E.D. (Front End Engineering Design) Study slated for release in late October early November 2014. Fichtner has completed the "Mass and Energy Balance Analysis" portion of their engagement and is now working on the "Layout Development and Elevations", the "Electrical Line Diagrams" and the "Process and Instrumentation Diagrams". In order to complete these studies they require equipment suppliers to provide equipment specifications and costing including footprint, utility connections, consumables and maintenance. Due to the complexity of the Z.E.W.O.P. TM this process is taking longer than originally contemplated. Many of the required components are readily available however the reactor technology is unique to Z.E.W.O.P. TM and in order to gather the required information TransAct had to proceed with commissioning. We spent months reviewing and meeting with companies around the world that could design/build our reactors at the required commercial scale and believe we found the best technologists for us in Australia.

"We signed an agreement, visited their facilities down under and provided the first payment" says TransAct's CEO and President Rod Bartlett, "They will be completing the design work for the full scale reactors in their facilities in Australia and then coming to Puebla to oversee the construction of the actual reactors we will use there. The long term strategy is to establish mass production of our reactors in Mexico to service Canada, USA, Mexico and South America."

The name of the engineering firm is not being disclosed as part of the security around the TransAct intellectual property.
